This was a gorgeous trip with my old good friend, Dan in 2006. We enjoyed driving round the country seeing the sites and eating good Irish cookery. I especially enjoyed working to keep Guinness Brewery in business!! This post is only a few representative pictures. I will add more as I have the time. Sadly, Zeek wasn't able to go with me in this trip so, we plan another together so I can share my homeland with him as he has shared his with me. It's a grand trip altogether and I highly recommend a day trip to Dublin town in the train. As I remember the train station is near Shannon airport.
When Dan and I were there the weather was glorious!! The temperatures were very moderate, the skies were cloudy many of the days and we had rain as well. Ireland definitely lived up to her reputation of generous hospitality and soft climate.
If you haven't been I suggest you start booking a flight straight away!
